A bespoke set of courses designed specifically for different skill levels and applications – from beginners to advanced users, tool shops to concept designers.

How Does It Work?

Each course is broken into 5 modules of 2.5 hours each and is held in Invent 3D’s Innovation Showroom in Qormi.
The level of detail and complexity is determined by the group. Are we designing and printing car parts, or toys?

Expected outcome is an understanding that will help you in your hobby, assignments, or line of work

Who is this for?

The course is targeted to level-up your understanding and applications of 3D Printing.

Subjects tackled:

  • Fundamentals, Technologies & Materials
  • Introduction & Hands-On FDM and Resin Printing
  • Slicing & Model Preparation
  • 3D Design on Fusion 360
  • Designing for 3D Printing
  • Product Development Exercise

Do I need a 3D Printer to join?

No

For the purpose of the sessions, a 3D Printer will be provided.
 
However, if you prefer to bring your own 3D Printer, please do!
 Invent 3D has experience in running, maintaining and repairing on all FDM and Resin machines.

If you need assistance in purchasing your first machine, please get in touch.
